Info & Expo's

In 2020 I started silkscreenprinting and became a member of Mesh Print Club in Rotterdam. The creative proces of preparing a photograph/design or illustration and the artisanal printing process are very satisfying to me.  Most of my prints are often maritime themed, based on photo's taken during my 12-year career at sea and during my work as pilot in the port of Rotterdam. Though, anything can inspire me for a screenprint; from a beer bottle to a oddly shaped bubble. I've been photographing since the age of 16 and did an anlog B&W photography course in 1999 at USVA Groningen by Ton Broekhuis.
